Aoshima A005890 1/35 3 1/2T Truck SKW-477
This 3-1/2-ton truck is a general purpose heavy-duty truck operated by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Previously, it was procured as a Type 83 heavy-duty truck, but it was renamed the 3-1/2-ton truck in 2003. The Ground Self-Defense Force deploys it in almost all units regardless of occupation, including ordinary, armor and special departments, and it is also used by the Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Air Self-Defense Force. Its high durability and ability to run on rough terrain greatly contribute to disaster dispatch and lifesaving in various locations.
This kit from Aoshima precisely reproduces the SKW-477 3-1/2-ton truck, with movable front-wheel steering and movable rear axles; it can be assembled with the cab and hood in place or removed.
